Kecia Taylor joined the Centrifuge team in May 2018, bringing nearly a decade of experience in the events industry to CMI. Kecia is an ECU graduate (one of several here, go Pirates!), who studied Hospitality Management/Event Planning. Among the Centrifuge crew, Kecia is one of few team members who got a degree in this field and continues to work in it.

Prior to joining CMI, she was a Conference Services Manager for two well-known independent hotels, which has proven incredibly helpful in her current role as Senior Account Manager. Kecia also has a variety of experience in the events industry working with collegiate, corporate, nonprofit and social markets.

Kecia enjoys working with clients to bring their visions to life from the initial ideation and brainstorming through execution; That looks like ensuring client needs are met on every inch of every project, meeting or event by taking the best course of action based on the scope of the production. As Senior Account Manager, Kecia also finds purpose in mentoring up and coming CMI Account Managers and Event Coordinators.

Life Outside of Centrifuge:

Kecia grew up an Air Force brat, learning the importance of diversity and adapting quickly to change from an early age. Fun fact: she’s lived in Panama, and was excited to return there for a show produced by CMI in 2019! If she’s not at the shooting range, you’ll likely find Kecia crafting or bicycling while listening to country music. In fact, she loves to put one of her two dogs (Oliver and Rascal) in her bike basket and go for a ride.
