Madden Meiners is a filmmaker at heart with an eye and ear for storytelling and video production. He started his career as a basketball double on a television show, using the opportunity to shadow directors and learning the craft as well as how a large-scale production works and operates. After getting his foot in the door Madden worked on a number of shows in the camera and video departments, even having the pleasure of working alongside famed cinematographers Vilmos Zsigmond and Edward Lachman.
Following the advice of his mentor, he turned his focus to producing and directing his own documentaries, short films, animations, and music videos, refining his craft and vision before eventually working within the music industry as a video and content producer for Yep Roc Records, Redeye Worldwide, and Moogfest.
Madden brings 15-years of video and film production experience to Centrifuge Media, and has already had his hand in a number of projects ranging from producing closing videos for international and domestic clients, animations and videos for presenters, VR-360 experiences, augmented reality, and holograms. His storytelling and technical capabilities are instrumental to the ever-growing field of video services and offerings at Centrifuge Media.
Life Outside of Centrifuge:
Madden and his wife reside in Durham with their boxer/Plott-hound. He enjoys golfing on his days off and a good run on the days when he is working. If he’s not in the office or at home in Durham he’s either at a beach looking for a fun spot to surf, or traveling with his wife and checking out the local food and record shop scene.
