South Carolina born and North Carolina raised, Lindsay Clapp, has the very essence of hospitality running through her veins. After earning her degree in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Special Events and Conventions and a minor in Business Management from East Carolina University, Lindsay Clapp was quick to put her new skill set to work. She spent four years in Greensboro, NC working in the hotel industry before accepting a position as Event Manager at the Raleigh Convention Center.
During her 6 years in this role, Lindsay planned and managed countless meetings, trade shows, galas, conventions, banquets, and luncheons. The list of events entrusted to Lindsay is impressively long, however, a few highlights include the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) World of Bluegrass Festival, the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball, Lenovo Conference, the Unreal Epic Game Conference, R6 Raleigh Major Gaming Conference, Animazement, the WakeMed Hospital Gala, YMCA Youth, and Government Conference, and the (NCAEYC) North Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children Conference.
In 2019, Lindsay joined and immediately became an undeniable asset to the Centrifuge team. As Event Manager, her role requires cross-functional communication and coordination with Account, Strategic, Creative, and Production Services in order to offer customized solutions and optimal client experiences.
Life Outside of Centrifuge:
Lindsay loves being a mom and cherishes every memory and moment that she makes with her handsome boy and beautiful baby girl. She is always up for a game of volleyball, working out, showing off her crafty side, spending time outdoors playing with her two rescued fur pups. She and her husband enjoy summer vacations at the beach, sipping coffee on the front porch in the morning, and sitting by the ocean… oh….wait..they have kids, right? 😉
