Jessie Burton was born and raised in North Carolina and is a proud graduate of UNC – Greensboro. Working in the events industry was not what Jessie intended to do in life, but she’s so excited life took her down this path.
While in school, she worked as an Event Manager for a wedding planning company and she believes this is what sparked her passion for planning events. However, she graduated with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies and initially set off to work in that field, quickly realizing that event/meeting planning was her true calling. With luck, she stumbled across the Event Coordinator position at Centrifuge Media in December of 2018 and hasn’t looked back!
In 2020, Jessie was promoted to Account Manager and is loving her current role.
Life Outside of Centrifuge:
With a love for all food, Jessie’s favorite weekend activity is exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys cooking & creating unique dishes for her little family, including her partner John and pup Riley (Riley is her #1 taste tester). Jessie loves tending to her plants & garden while at home, even though they don’t always survive! She is still working on her green thumb.
